Air Force: State of the program.

The Athletic continues its off-season series and turns to Air Force. The Falcons are extremely interesting because they are among the teams with the least amount of experience from 2020, but that experience increases when considering their 2019 production. AFA had a great defense last season and they will return many players from turnbacks who did not play in 2020 (at least 30 players). They still have to replace much of their offense, including their entire offensive line.

Boise State comes up way short in the championship department.

For the first time in 30 years, the Boise State athletic program failed to win at least one championship in any of their sports. They did place second in five sports, for whatever that is worth. Covid and other factors are of course in play, but they were for every other team and program as well. No matter what way it’s cut, it was a disappointing year for BSU athletics. However, that doesn’t mean the sky is falling or that there isn’t a reason to believe they don’t bounce back.
