It’s Monday and we’re back after the weekend. The links keep pressing on, so check out the latest Mountain West and college sports-related news from around the web, plus the original content we have coming your way this week.

How the NLI will impact college sports?

Expect a lot of twists and turns between now and July 1st. But if not every state has legislation or even the same legislation, and the NCAA doesn’t step in before then, things can get messy quickly. Players won’t be paid, but they could make money off ads and endorsements, autographs, and branding from social media. It will certainly bring more room for the dark side of recruiting and tampering to the forefront.

Wolf Pack win Silver State Series.

Forgive me for not knowing the Silver State series, the annual head-to-head sports competition between Nevada and UNLV was a thing, but it has been going on for nine years. And for just the second time in nine years, the Wolf Pack have won, as they currently lead 24 points to 15 with just track and field remaining. They pushed ahead late with their spring sports.
