New strength coach integrating technology.

Now coach Reid Kagy has been credited with the pre-practice hype circle, but that’s not his only addition so far. He has incorporated GPS technology into workouts and under their vests in practices. Also, they have been using a radar gun to look at max velocity as well as give information to players to be able to inform them on how well they accelerate, their peak power, and identify areas to grow.

Young and old Cowboys share a common goal.

There is a definite age gap on the team. The incoming players are all about TikTok and the 6th and 7th year seniors have never heard of it. Music is different, studies and relationships can be different. However, at the end of the day all the players have the same goal, to win. And that’s what is uniting the team.

The SDSU QB competition presses on.

It’s a three-person race, Lucas Johnson and Jordon Brookshire are the returning seniors and Jalen Mayden is the P5 sophomore transfer. In order to get the best evaluation as possible, quarterbacks will be live. This will help the coaches see how they respond to taking hits, evading defenders, as well as earn teammates respect.
