Utah State and the Mountain West All-Conference Team

The Mountain West released their 2021-2022 awards and all-conference list on Tuesday, and included on the all-conference list are three Aggies.

Neemias Queta was named to the First Team All-Conference list. On the year he is averaging 14.7 points, hitting 56.4% of his shots and is also averaging 9.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, three blocks, and 1.2 steals. He has been a very consistent player for Utah State this year and in addition to being named to the first team list, he was also named both the Defensive Player of the Year and named to the Defensive Team list.

Justin Bean was named to the Second Team All-Conference list, averaging 11.3 points, 7.8 rebounds. His shooting percentage on the season is currently 50.9%, so very close to half of his shots are being made.

Marco Anthony joined Neemias Queta on the defensive team. He is averaging 10 points per game this season and is making 41.2% of his shots. He is also averaging 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.4 blocks, and 0.9 assists per game.

Alphonso Anderson didn’t make the All-Conference lists but was still named the Sixth Man of the Year. He is averaging 6.8 points per game on 41.7% shooting this season along with 2.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists.
