We saw some huge games in the Mountain West this past weekend and there were some huge performances to go along with them. Let’s take a look at the top performers from week 9.
Offensive Player of the Week
Jordan Mims (Fresno State)
It is hard to rush for 100 yards against the Aztecs. Jordan Mims did it with relative ease. Mims finished the game with 29 carries for 186 yards and two touchdowns. A huge performance in a huge game for Mims.
Defensive Player of the Week
Cade Hall (San Jose State)
Hall was a force for the Spartans against the Cowboys. He finished the game with 7 tackles and two sacks for a Spartan squad that was in need of a big win.
Special Teams Player of the Week
Ryan Stonehouse (Colorado State)
Stonehouse had a busy day for the Rams in a losing effort. But the loss was no fault of his own; Stonehouse averaged 60 yards on five punts.
