It’s halfway through the week and Mountain West games are just two days away. As always, the links press on. Check out what is coming your way today and the rest of the week.

Regrading 2016-2017 coaching hires.

An interesting read and idea. Jeff Tedford was originally seen as a poor hire and jumped to an A-. Jay Norvell was average at the time and is now graded as a B+. Brent Brenna got lots of Cs and went to an A-.

Chris Murray MWC rankings.

His rankings make sense for the most part and most debates are toss-ups anyway. As long as the Aztecs are at the top and UNLV is bringing up the rear, the middle is the interesting part anyway.

Snoop Dog inspiring MWC players.

That is a title I never imagined writing. While scrolling for links, I came across not one but two links related to Snoop Dog and players from the Mountain West. One is how Snoop inspired former BSU star Jeremy McNichols as a kid and the other is how he encouraged current UNM player CJ Montes now.
