Matt Brown tackles the issue of competitive balance in college football in his latest Extra Points. He says while it is an issue that only a few teams can win the championship, lowering scholarship limits won’t help. That and other issues make it worth the read.

NCAA Leadership platform.

In a great move, the NCAA will create a leadership collaborative to highlight minority coaches in football. The hope is that it will form more connections and lead to more opportunities for coordinator and head coaching jobs. Will it be perfect? Of course not. But it’s a good start. Here is the release:
