MWC Recruiting Roundup 1-25-21

Another week, another recruiting roundup.

Recruiting in January has really become recruiting directly from the transfer portal, with players going in and coming out each week. These players have been making up the majority of the MWC commits and this week is no exception.

Some teams are getting a head start on future classes with offers. Other teams took another step in their 2022 classes. There were eleven new commits in the conference this week, with Fresno State getting five of those themselves. The Bulldogs are on the banner this week for their efforts.

Recruiting Calendar:

The dead period is still alive. But based on what the NCAA is allowing, it seems more like a contact period to some degree, as coaches can have unlimited calls and video meetings during this time.

Update: The Dead Period has been extended through March 2021.

Air Force Commitment Tracker:

Since the Air Force Academy regularly has around 100 commits in each class, it’s kind of fun to track them over the course of the year.
