SDSU to AAC? Not so fast days AD.
John David Wicker, the San Diego State athletic director, called the report about them engaging in talks with the AAC a “non-story”. Take that for what it’s worth, as often people will deny things until they happen, but he seemed pretty firm about it.
2 MWC players appear on ESPN’s all-bowl team.
This bowl season, the Mountain West had two of its players get noticed by being placed on the all-bowl team. Nevada’s Tristan Nichols, who had two sacks, and Hawaii’s Calvin Turner Jr, who have 252 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns.
Lobos returning for 2021.
Danny Gonzales announced that 14 seniors from the 2020 team will be back for the 2021 season.
Gonzales said that those invited back had to meet certain academic and athletic requirements. Those who did not instead entered the transfer portal for their last season of eligibility.
