The New Mexico Lobos men’s basketball team is on the move. This time to Utah. St. George, Utah to be exact, on the campus of Dixie State University, the WAC’s newest member.
This is the third different school that the displaced Lobos will use so far into the 2020-21 season. UNM began the season playing on the campus of Rice, then came a move to Lubbock at Lubbock Christian University.
The Lobos and Dixie State will play a game as part of the agreement. That game is scheduled for tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. MT.
After the game, the Lobos will meet UNLV on Saturday and Monday night in Las Vegas, before coming back to DSU to practice and play their series against San Jose State.
The games against SJSU will be on Thursday January 21st and Saturday January 23rd.
The state of New Mexico’s health order is still preventing the Lobos from playing or practicing in the state.
The Lobos are 3-6 on the season and 0-6 in Mountain West Conference play.
