Welcome to September, everyone. As always we have a new set of links, this time with a heavy dose of hoops and Jon Rothstein tweets.
Former Bronco, Justinian Jessup has sights set on NBA
Justinian Jessup, fresh off his final season at BSU, is headed to play professional basketball in Australia for the NBL. Jessup hopes his stint in Australia is short as he intends to make an NBA roster in the near future. Jessup will still be available for the NBA draft in October and if he goes undrafted he hopes to use the NBL season to improve his stock as a free agent the following year. Jessup says “it’s only a matter of time” before he finds his way to the NBA.
Tentative schedule for Wyoming Basketball Classic
Who knows how the basketball season will play out but as of now UW has found teams to compete in the Wyoming Basketball Classic. While Wyoming has not revealed the names of the teams the tournament is scheduled to take place November 27-30.
