Pay-wall above, but it’s significant Mountain West news. COVID-19 is delaying the start of New Mexico Lobos football’s August camp. Most teams are slated to start on August 7th. That seems to be looming as a deadline of sorts for college football. Are we lacing them up, or not?
The Bennett saga started when he surprisingly signed with Boise State, despite the Broncos already having prized recruit Hank Bachmeier in the fold. Bennett then transferred to Nevada, but failed to break in with the Wolf Pack too. Hopefully he finds success in the Big Sky.
News from the other day that should not go unnoticed. 1,000+ scholar athletes for the Mountain West!
The off-season of transfer additions continues for Utah State football. First quarterback Jason Shelley (which controversially led to Henry Colombi leaving) and now the addition of Devonta’e Henry-Cole. Gary Andersen is doing his best to mitigate the loss of Jordan Love.
