It’s Thursday and we are still rolling out new preview content for Kickoff Week. Today looks at the fourth post of the week, the All-Coach team. Like the name suggests, our team voted on the best coach at each position and listed them all on one team. Some spots were more difficult to identify than others, but we put together a good team nonetheless. Check it out below and if you missed out on anything from earlier in the week, catch up on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
For this list, we kept it simple. A head coach, three coordinators and the eight traditional assistants. Many defensive spots have multiple coaches on the DL, LB, or in the secondary, but we listed them all as one spot to attempt to keep it fair. Also, although coordinators weren’t necessarily exempt from being listed a second time as a position coach, our voters didn’t double up on the final results.

- Bryan Harsin (Boise State)
Offensive Coordinator
- Eric Kiesau (Boise State)

Defensive Line Coach

Team Totals:
- Boise State: 4
- Wyoming: 2
- San Diego State: 2
- Air Force: 1
- Nevada: 1
- New Mexico: 1
- San Jose State: 1
Notes:
- The unanimous picks were: Long, Danielson and Sanchez.
- The closest position battles were at running back, tight end, and linebacker.
- Four different coaches received votes at Offensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinate, as well as running back coach and tight ends coach. All other positions except one were two-man races.
- As can be shown above, Boise State was the clear leader in coaching votes. But the recognition was also pretty balanced, with seven teams being represented across the twelve spots.
There it is. So let’s hear it. Who did we snub? Who did we put on here that shouldn’t be? Let’s hear you feedback in the comments section.
