Governor asks UNM, NMSU to suspend fall contact sports

I think this might be the 1000th time I’ve sighed in 2020. This was inevitable, not a total shocker, but this appears to be the next step to no fall sports. New Mexico’s governor has asked New Mexico and New Mexico State to pause contact sports this fall due to the spike in COVID-19 cases. Expect more of this in the coming weeks.

Colorado State fall sports are in flux due to COVID-19. Here’s what we know right now

I apologize for inundating your morning with this type of news, but that’s where we are in the college sports world right now. Can fans attend games? Will the schedule be shortened? 2020 Mountain West Football Preseason All-Conference Team

The media predictions were announced on Tuesday, and the all-conference team followed the next day. Riley Whimpey, Justin Rice, and Warren Jackson were unanimous selections. Boise State’s Hank Bachmeier is the first sophomore quarterback to make first-team since 2016. Boise State’s Avery Williams is the only player to appear twice on the first-team (DB and PR). Any surprises? Omissions?

Hawaii will be testing all their players soon

Kicker respect!
