The only glaring omission on the offensive side of the ball is probably George Holani. Holani was the freshman of the year and will likely be the key to the Boise State offense. Hawaii wide receiver Marcus Smart also has a case as he could be the number one receiver for the Rainbow Warriors.

On the defensive side of the ball, Boise State and San Diego State accounted for 9 of the 13 selections. Avery Williams was the only two-time selection as he was selected as both a cornerback and punt returner. His selection as a cornerback likely occurred because his teammate Jalen Walker was left off the voting.
