NCAA allows extra FCS win for bowl eligibility.
NCAA will allow FBS schools to count 2 games against qualifying FCS teams toward bowl eligibility this season. This likely will only impact Group of 5/independents since all Power 5 schools likely to play only Power 5 opponents this year

BREAKING: The @NCAA Division I Council has PASSED legislation, effective August 1, that would allow teams to give need-based/merit aid without it counting against a program’s scholarship total. This is big news for college baseball.
