Happy Hump Day everyone! Look at what we got for you today.

Norvell speaks out.

In case you missed it, Nevada head football coach Jay Norvell released a statement full of powerful words the other day. Please take the time to read, as I couldn’t do it justice recapping it here.

Most underrated player at every position.

Air Force guard Nolan Laufenberg makes the list from the Mountain West. Can’t see much else through the paywall. However, good to see someone from the stout Falcon offensive line get his deserved recognition.

Athlon ranks the MWC coaches.

Athlon is always good for some off-season posts. This one looks at the MWC head coaches. The top three are Bryan Harsin, Troy Calhoun, and Craig Bohl. Harsin takes the top spot on their rankings, but an argument could be made for any order of these three. Some of the picks after these were head-scratchers (at least in my opinion), but it’s easy to see there’s some talent among the 12 here.

Aztecs uniting during trying time.

Brady Hoke doesn’t feel equipped to guide his program during these national events, but is anyone? He’s still doing it though. Some of the players are opening up about their emotions, struggles, experiences, and situations of discrimination.

MWC BOD conclude meetings, make changes.

Some tourneys cancelled. Many meetings going virtual. All about cutting costs. More on this in a future Peak Perspective.
