Nevada signee Tre Coleman named a 2020 Indiana All-Star

The 6-foot-6 forward averaged 15.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in his senior season.

Nevada basketball recruit Tre Coleman was one of 13 players was named to the Indiana All-Star team Monday.

Coleman led Jeffersonville High School with 15.4 points and 2.3 blocks per contest. The 6-6 forward was second in rebounding with 7.1 boards per game. Coleman shot 65 percent from the floor. He helped the Red Devils to an 18-6 record.

As a junior, Coleman earned Junior All-Star honors for a Jeffersonville High School team that won the sectional championship. He averaged 16 points and 6.4 rebounds his junior season.

Nevada head coach Steve Alford and associate head coach Craig Neal both earned Indiana All-Stars honors in 1983. Alford played at New Castle Chrysler High School and Neal at Washington High School.

Coleman, a three-star recruit, is listed as the No. 319 best player in the 2020 class per 247sports.com. Coleman joined Nevada after offers from Nebraska, Murray State, Monmouth, Mercer and Ball State, among others.
