Two years ago the Broncos struck recruiting gold with a junior college wide receiver. That wide receiver was John Hightower. Hightower was part of an offense that did not throw the ball much, which led to him flying under the radar. Well, his speed and dynamic return ability quickly caught the attention of NFL scouts.
Hightower was selected in the fifth round by the Philadelphia Eagles and became the third Boise State Bronco selected in this class (Ezra Cleveland and Curtis Weaver). Hightower will add speed to an already electric receiving group for the Eagles and could see immediate time as a kick returner.
