Air Force hires their new basketball coach.
Sources: Air Force has hired Georgia assistant Joe Scott as its next head basketball coach. Official announcement expected soon. Scott was previously the head coach at Air Force, Princeton, and Denver.

Winter sports are not granted extra eligibility.
The NCAA has decided not to grant athletes from winter sports (including basketball) an extra year of eligibility due to coronavirus pandemic. Spring sport athletes were granted extra year.

The weirdest season for New Mexico men’s basketball takes another turn. Guard JJ Caldwell has entered the transfer portal. He started all 13 games he played, got suspended, was not publicly charged with a crime, was banned from campus, filed a lawsuit, had the ban waved, and is now transferring for his last season.
