Pro-days, Lobo scrimmage, cadets dismissed, dead period, eligibility.

NCAA Football: Georgia State at Air Force Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

Welcome to a Monday with no sports. Here is the latest sports-related news in the sports-less world.

NFL bans pro-days and visits.

This was probably already happening but it became official Friday. There will be no more pro-days or NFL teams meeting with athletes entering the NFL draft this year for the time being.

New Mexico had a scrimmage on Friday.

Yes some form of football and sports still existed at the end of last week. It’s important for the rebuilding Lobos that they have this development time. It sounds like the defense, particularly LB Joey Noble, stood out.

Cadets are being orderly dismissed.

All recruiting is in a Dead Period.

Good news... spring sport athletes get this year of eligibility back.

On the horizon:
