Welcome welcome, to another day of links. Mixed in with the normal mid-week news are some recruiting related posts. Expect more over the next week.
The story that won’t end gets another chapter. This report states former football coach Bob Davie gave the athletic department a memo just before the start of the season listing his concerns. Those include the men’s basketball team being treated better, the football team in public being demonized and not enough trombones in the marching band (seriously). Others sounded more important, scholarship checks getting to players late and a lack of mental health resources available.
The Athletic takes a trip down memory lane and uses a system to look at players playing above their recruiting ranking. They rerank Boise State at #15 due to two recruits who are already in the NFL and two more likely on the way this year.
Banner Society pokes some fun at what some twitter fans say on signing day about recruiting. Certainly none of these things were ever said by MWC fans right?
