Each week after the NFL has completed its slate of games (starting with Thursday night football and ending after Monday night football) this series will take a look at news and statistics surrounding former Utah State Aggies players.
Week 15
Carolina Panthers
Tyler Larsen saw four snaps (14%) on special teams in a 24-16 loss to Green Bay. He has not seen any snaps on offense since week 10.
Los Angeles Chargers
Nick Vigil had nine tackles and a tackle for loss in a 30-27 win over the Raiders. He saw 46 snaps (61%) and 16 snaps on special teams (57%). On the season, Vigil has 45 total tackles (27 solo, 18 assists), three tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble.
Green Bay Packers
Jordan Love has nor yet appeared
Seattle Seahawks
Bobby Wagner had 13 total tackles (seven solo, six assist) and a pass deflection on 80 snaps (100%) and two snaps on special teams (9%) in a 20-15 win over Washington. On the season, Wagner has 126 combined tackles (73 solo, 53 assist) and seven tackles for loss in addition to 11 quarterback hits and a fumble recovery.
Chicago Bears
Patrick Scales played on eight special teams snaps (28%) in a 33-27 win over the Vikings. On the year he has made one tackle, in week nine against the Titans.
Las Vegas Raiders
Nevin Lawson made five total tackles (two solo, three assist) and appeared on 61 defensive snaps (100%) and also appeaered on 11 special teams snaps (38%). On the season Lawson has 49 tackles (38 solo, 11 assist) a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit in addition to a fumble recovery.
Kansas City Chiefs
Darwin Thompson hasn’t seen the field since week eight against the Jets. He has rushed for 52 yards on 13 attempts this season and has also rushed for four first downs.
New York Giants
Kyler Fackrell is on injury reserves for the Giants and hasn’t seen the field since November 29th. He has made 31 tackles this season (20 solo, 11 assist) and has six tackles for loss and nine quarterback hits in addition to a pick six, a forced fumble, and two pass deflections.
Game Balls
Game Ball #1
Bobby Wagner returned to the numbers he was previously posted this season in having double digit tackles against Washington in a low scoring game where double digit tackles may have been a big factor in a victory.
Game Ball #2
Nick Vigil receives the second game ball in a 30-27 win over the Raiders. He had nine tackles and a tackle for loss, which serves a larger impact in a close victory.
Game Ball #3
Nevin Lawson earns the third game ball for posting five tackles in a game where he once again saw 100% of the snaps in what has been a productive season for Lawson.
