The San Jose Spartans continued their Cinderella run on Sunday morning. The Spartans are now ranked in both the Coaches and Associated Press Polls. San Jose State came in at number 25 in both polls and will be a ranked squad heading into the conference championship game against Boise State.
Boise State was the only other Mountain West team to garner any votes. They were three spots outside of the AP Poll and four spots outside of the Coaches Poll. This adds to the stakes of Saturday’s game, the winner will likely be ranked to finish the season and could use that momentum heading into the 2021 season. Boise State is currently an eight point favorite over the Spartans.
Do you think both teams should be ranked? Are the voters giving the Spartans enough credit? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
