Mountain West in the Rankings

Nevada was on the verge of entering the polls this past week, but a surprising loss to Hawaii has lead to Nevada no longer receiving votes in the AP Poll. Boise State and San Jose State were the only teams receiving votes with 8 each (good for 32nd). There is a good chance that one of those teams would have been ranked had the game happened.

In the Coaches Poll, San Jose State received 19 votes, Boise State received 15, and Nevada 14 (34th, 36th, 37th).
