If you weren’t tired of hearing about polls for the last couple weeks, I have bad news. We have a new AP top 25 poll for football as well as the first top 25 poll for basketball. We also have other news as the football season charges on!
Week 10 football AP poll
Unfortunately, Boise State has dropped from the top 25, however, Nevada has started to garner attention as they received one vote while the Broncos had 5. It was a rough week for BSU and SDSU as they were the only teams receiving votes the past couple of weeks.
Week 1 basketball AP poll
The first AP basketball poll of the season is here. Coming off one of the greatest seasons in SDSU history the Aztecs are once again in the spotlight. They lie slightly outside the top 25 receiving 6 votes.
Boise State QB situation unclear
It has been a wild few weeks at the QB position for the Broncos. With Hank Bachmeier having missed the last two games for unknown reasons and Jack Sears getting injured against BYU last week, Cade Fennegan was the one getting most of the snaps against the Cougars. Any one of those guys could end up starting this week as Bryan Harsin doesn’t plan on naming a starter until right before kickoff.
Air force at Wyoming cancelled
Due to the spike in coronavirus cases at the Air Force academy, the Mountain West has cancelled this weekends game against Wyoming. Air Force had to cancel last weekends game against Army for the same reason.
SDSU starts of season with a big time matchup
Sources: UCLA's game at San Diego State is now expected to be on November 25th --- opening night ---- at Viejas Arena. Heck of a first game for both programs.
