Boise State gained some ground in both polls this weekend. The Broncos entered the Coaches Poll at number 23. It is the first time this season, that a Mountain West team has been ranked in the poll. Nevada received three votes in the poll, while San Diego State received one.
In the AP Poll the Broncos moved up four spots to number 21. Friday night will be a significant matchup for the Broncos, as they will play host to BYU. BYU is currently the number 9 team in the nation and will be the highest ranked team to play in Albertsons Stadium. San Diego State received 8 votes in the AP Poll.
