The Nevada men’s basketball Mountain West schedule was released by the conference Friday.
Subject to approval from state, county and local officials, Nevada will play an 18-game conference schedule beginning on Jan. 2 that will conclude on March 6. The remainder of the Mountain West will begin conference-play on Dec. 29.
The Pack will play nine home games and nine road games. They will match-up against each of the remaining 10 Mountain West foes — including eight teams twice and two teams just once. The opponents they will play just once include a road contest versus Air Force (Feb. 9) and a home affair versus Wyoming Cowboys (March 2).

Nevada will open Mountain West play at on the road against the San Jose State Spartans on Jan. 2. It will close its 2020-21 regular season at home versus San Diego State on March 6.
Each team’s conference record will determine the seeding for the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship, which will be held March 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Nevada’s non-conference schedule has not been completely finalized and will be announced in the coming weeks. The earliest start date for the 2020-21 season is Nov. 25.
