Aztecs’ 10-year streak in jeopardy as bowls begin to disappear
To be honest, this doesn’t just apply to San Diego State, but perhaps the entire Mountain West. With ESPN and others slowly axing events like bowl games, it’s becoming increasingly unlikely that bowl season will be as robust as we’re accustomed to. That said, I’m not so sure San Diego State’s bowl streak is actually in jeopardy. Anyone counting this bizarre, asterisk-laden season to the history books in an attempt to break streaks is being ridiculous.
Rams, Bulldogs clash in Fresno on Friday night
There is a Mountain West football game on tonight! Fresno State will attempt to avoid dropping two straight home games. Colorado State, on the other hand, is playing their first game of the season after missing last week’s game due to cancellation forced by New Mexico’s state regulations. A pair of newcomers make a big impact in their Rainbow Warrior debut
Hawaii football’s offense naturally catches the attention of viewers, but transfer linebacker Quentin Frazier caught the eye of fans against Fresno State over the weekend. Another transfer, Calvin Turner, turned heads in the wildcat formation. Read above to learn about both newcomers. Hawaii will look to keep momentum moving forward Friday night in frigid Laramie on FS1.
Saturday’s San Jose State-New Mexico football game relocated to San Jose
For those that missed it, is New Mexico football on the verge of going on tour to avoid being shutout of the Mountain West’s return to football?

More hype for Boise State men’s basketball
Leon Rice tells me that this is most talented team he's had at Boise State. Also adds that three transfers --- Marcus Shaver (Portland), Emmanuel Akot (Arizona), and Mladen Armus (ETSU) --- are all likely starters.
