NCAA Football: UNLV at Nevada David Calvert-USA TODAY Sports

It’s finally Friday and the Mountain West news is far from halting. Check it out below.

Looking at the Wolf Pack OL

Chris Murray’s preview series continues. He says this position needs a ton of improvement form last year. They may start a true freshman at LT, but the other four have started games before. However, only one is can be said to have a good deal of returning experience. The two deep is sprinkled with young potential however.

Lobos pause practice.

The New Mexico football program halted their practices after eight players and one coach tested positive. They are hopeful things can get back to “normal” on Saturday, whatever normal is.

One step closer to transfer rule changes.

All teams will be bowl eligible, but only 78 will make the cut.

Coach Carter wins award for his outstanding work on diversity.
