Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle among men’s basketball NCAA tournament regional hosts in 2023-26
Congrats to San Jose on securing more regionals in the future, but the real story here is Las Vegas being selected for the first time ever. That is unimaginable, a basketball mecca like Vegas having never hosted for the NCAA Tournament, but it’s true. Reno is also hosting a few events. The wait will be over in 2023.
Miles Beach, the Wolf Pack’s starting left tackle, has retired
Not an ideal development with 10 days until the opener against Wyoming.
Aztecs expected to name Carson Baker as starting quarterback
A new era is set to begin for San Diego State football, and it starts with a new face at quarterback. Redshirt sophomore Carson Baker appears to be the winner, beating out Georgia Tech transfer Lucas Johnson. Aztecs open on the 24th against UNLV in the stadium the LA Galaxy play in.
Hank Bachmeier is Boise State’s starting QB. But who will be No. 2 on the depth chart?
This might seem like a pointless question, but considering Boise State’s offensive line play has left much to be desired since 2017, it’s fair to ask who the #2 (or hell, even the #3 as last season showed) quarterback will be. Read above.
More NCAA Tournament locations!
Mark your calendars!

A perfect showing for @jasonsanderss who was 5/5 on field goals and 4/4 on PATs.

Winter sports athletes afforded a mulligan
The NCAA's Division I Council has voted to give an additional year of eligibility to winter-sport athletes, source told @TheAthletic. Just like fall-sport athletes. Doesn't matter how much or little anyone plays.
