The Nevada Wolf Pack football team will appear on national television in seven of its eight games throughout its 2020 season, the Mountain West announced Tuesday. The conference will have its broadcast partnerships with CBS Sports and Fox Sports.
Only four times have been announced on its upcoming schedule. The Wolf Pack will open at home on Oct. 24 against Wyoming at 4 p.m. PDT on CBS Sports.
Two of Nevada’s scheduled games moved dates due to broadcasting conflicts. Its contest at home versus Utah State was moved to Thursday, Nov. 5 (originally scheduled for Nov. 7), while its season-finale on the road against San Jose State was shifted to Friday, Dec. 11 (originally on Dec. 12) at 7 p.m. PDT.
Three of Nevada’s seven televised games will be on CBS Sports, while the remaining four will either be on FS1 or FS2. Kickoff times for games on one of the FOX networks will generally be announced at least 12 days before kickoff.
Nevada’s eight-game schedule is a conference-only schedule, which was announced earlier this month.
The top two teams featuring the highest winning percentage in the conference will face off in the Mountain West Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 19 — eliminating divisional delineation. The team with the best record will host the game.
