It took longer than expected, but Boise State football finally replaced former offensive coordinator Zak Hill, who left for Arizona State. The replacement is Eric Kiesau, who was Boise State’s wide receiver coach from 2017-2019. Why did it take this long just to promote from within? Who knows, but Kiesau has a respectable resume and deserves the job.
It may be basketball season, but football is still in the news this week after Hawaii’s Nick Rolovich skipped town to coach Washington State. Who might replace Rolovich at Hawaii? State law requires a job to be posted for an entire week, so Hawaii can’t officially hire someone until next week, but could an internal hire be in the makings? Above are some potential candidates.
In one of the more surprising scores of the evening, Colorado State destroyed New Mexico on the hardwood via a school record 19 3-point baskets. The Lobos move to 15-4 and will have to just chalk that one up to one of those nights.
