Let’s talk recruiting. This past week saw a good deal of offers and visitors but no additions on the commitment front. Wyoming led the way this week with three known visitors. Thus, they are on the cover photo.

Recruiting Rankings
Here is a look back at September rankings for comparison. (Below is September rankings)
1. Nevada
2. Fresno State
3. UNLV
4. Boise State
5. Colorado State
6. Air Force
7. Utah State
8. Hawaii
9. Wyoming
10. San Diego State
11. San Jose State
12. New Mexico
Tiers:
As you know, ranking teams by tiers can sometimes explain the gaps (or lack of gaps) between teams in a way that straight rankings cannot. Here are the teams groups by tiers. If someone wanted to rerank the teams but stay within the same tier, they would have a fair case.
Tier 1: Nevada, Fresno State, UNLV
Tier 2: Boise State, Colorado State, Air Force
Tier 3: Utah State, Hawaii, Wyoming
Tier 4: San Diego State, San Jose State
Tier 5: New Mexico
The top three remained unchanged from last month. From my perspective, some spots are interchangeable, as indicated in the tiers above. I said October that things would be different but that doesn’t appear to be the case. There was a good amount of action in recruiting over the past month, but there still isn’t that much separation. October and November are usually bigger months for visits.
Visit Recap:
OL James McNorton (Wyoming)
“My host Zach Watts made it the most fun and he just sold the program to me completely. The family aspect of Wyoming is a big highlight; it’s an amazing community and it’s always growing. Also, all the coaches were super cool, I love them and they are all about me they are waiting for me to pull the trigger. I love Wyoming.”
