Happy Tuesday folks, the conference is off to a great collective start on the gridiron and all teams look to keep it rolling this week. As always we have links to keep you updated on, enjoy!
CSU quarterback situation unclear after injury
After Collin Hill sustained a knee injury in last Saturday’s game against Arkansas the quarterback position is up in the air for the Rams. Coach Mike Bobo did not provide any info as to the severity of the injury. Hill had an MRI Monday and we could get an update as early as today as to how severe it really is. Bobo has already ruled out Hill for the upcoming game against Toledo, leaving Patrick O’Brien (Nebraska transfer) and Justice McCoy (Redshirt Sophomore) to battle for the starting spot on Saturday.
Wyoming expected to get DB back this week
Antonio Hull is expected to be back with the team soon and could make his season debut as soon as this week. Hull had been back in his home state of California dealing with a personal matter since before the season started. Coach Bohl plans to talk with the DB to see what the next steps are to getting him back on the field. When Hull returns he will be an immediate boost to the Cowboy defense, he has been a staple starter for years as a 5th year senior including starting all 12 games last season.
Boise State adds another 2020 recruit
6-foot-5 Robert Cooper out of Bethel HS in Washington, a familiar recruiting area for the Broncos, is listed as both and offensive and defensive lineman and also held offers from Oregon State, Hawaii, Utah, San Jose State, Utah State and Wyoming. Cooper is the 7th recruit for Boise State in the 2020 class and is listed as a 3 star recruit by 247Sports. The Broncos continue their success on the field as well as on the recruiting front.
