San Diego State (2-0) will travel to Las Cruces to take on New Mexico State (0-2).

The Aztecs hold a 9-1-1 all-time record against the Aggies.

SDSU hasn't lost a contest to NMSU since 1955 and the trend shouldn't change on Saturday.

Although New Mexico State started off the season facing off against two teams in the top 25.

In the matchups with Washington State and Alabama, the Aggies only scored 17 points while their opponents posted a whopping 120 total points.

The NMSU will have a break in Saturday’s matchup, but do not underestimate the Aztecs defense.

The secondary for SDSU should perform as well as they have in the first two games impacting both contests dramatically.

It is tough to tell how well he New Mexico State defense will perform since we have such a small sample size, but if they give up even half of the yards they gave up against Washington State, then the Aztecs should have no problem winning this one.

The Aggies defense has not been able to stop any team through the air or on the ground and has yet to score over 10 points in a game.

I am convinced that the Aztecs will come out on top against the Aggies this weekend.
