Rebels Get New Home Name Next Season

The UNLV Rebels’ new home next season has been officially named Allegiant Stadium. Allegiant is an airline company that their headquarters is located in the Las Vegas area. It will also house the NFL’s Oakland Raiders (soon to be the Las Vegas Raiders after this NFL season). The official date that the new stadium will open is around this time next year. It’ll be ready for the 2020 seasons for the Rebels and Raiders.

Cooking Talent and Lacrosse-playing Offensive Lineman a key to Aztec Success

Junior center Keith Ismael from SDSU was coming off a lost season for the Aztecs. SDSU went 7-6 last season, and they made it to a bowl game barley. Unfortunately, they would get blown out by Ohio. Ismael is getting ready for a new, fresh season to bring the Aztecs to a winning season. The offensive line will need him if they want to be in the hunt for a conference championship game. Ismael had the lacrosse mentality from his high school days were he can make big hits due to his size and strength. Aztec coaches were very impressed of him coming off from high school lacrosse to be a center on the offensive line just destroying nose tackles from scrimmage. He also has a talent of cooking outside of sports.
