MWC Recruiting Roundup 6-3-19

June Recruiting Rankings are in!

NCAA Football: Arizona Bowl-Arkansas State vs Nevada Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Here we go again, it’s time for the recap of offers and other recruiting news. I believe last week I said offers will probably go down now that it’s the quiet period. I’ll have to admit I was wrong and swallow my words on that one. Offers continued at a speedy pace, resulting in 81 known offers. Plus, there were two commits this week, as the Falcons and Bulldogs added to their classes. This week for the banner art battle, we are going with Nevada. The Wolf Pack handed out 15 offers, including 9 for 2021 or 2022 classes. Needless to say they are putting in the work on the recruiting trail.

2019 Cover Photo Total:

  • Colorado State: 3
  • Nevada: 3
  • San Jose State: 2
  • Fresno State: 1
  • Boise State: 1
  • Utah State: 1
  • Hawaii: 1
  • Air Force: 1

Recruiting Calendar:

As we mentioned last week, the Spring Eval Period is over. Now, it is what’s known as a quiet period. The main thing here is that recruits can take visits to college campuses, but coaches can’t go to visit recruits. This will last until June 23rd, when the first summer dead period will take place.

June Team Recruiting Rankings

It seems like I just did these, but apparently it has been a month. Here are the rankings from May if you’d like to compare. I’d expect this to be the last month where about half the teams are tied at the bottom due to not having a commit. Next month things should be spaced out a bit more. Regardless, check out the current rankings:

1. Fresno State

2. Nevada

3. UNLV

4. Boise State

5. Hawaii

6. San Jose State

7. Air Force

8-12. Everyone else
