Another day, another fresh set of links for you to enjoy.
A look ahead to the 2020 NBA draft.
A New Mexico tv station springboards off the 2019 NBA draft to look ahead to the 2020 draft. It previews three players on the Lobos who could hear their named called next year. They like Carlton Bragg as a stretch four, Jaquan Lyle as a versatile guard who just needs to stay healthy, and Vance Jackson as the tall, long athlete who is coveted in today’s game.
Former Cowboy Harris remaining honored.
WR Marcus Harris is on the College Hall of Fame ballot once again. He had a stellar career at Wyoming, amassing 4,518 career receiving yards, which was the most when he graduated and is still the 5th most of all-time. Harris was an all-American twice and in 1996 was the Biletnikoff award winner, which goes to the nation’s top wide receiver. He states he doesn’t get his hopes up of being one of the final 12 elected among the 75 nominees but appreciates being nominated for the third time.
Bulldogs get a baseball commit.
2020 RHP/SS Treven Crowley (@Treven661) of @hilmarhs has committed to @FresnoStateBSB. Fastball was up to 92 with a hammer at 72-73 at the #NorCalProCase two weeks ago. Loose, live arm. Bulldogs are getting a good one. #ShapeTheState #BeSeen

State of the program: Fresno State
The Athletic looks at Fresno State in their state of the program series. Opening the season as defender conference champions, they are now looking for sustained success. The Bulldogs have to replace a QB, top WR, some OL and many of their core defenders, but there’s still enough talent there to remain a force to be reckoned with. Get used to the names Ronnie Rivers, Derrion Grim, Jared Rice, plus Juju Hughes and Wylan Free, along with others.
