It’s Tuesday again folks, as always with the offseason in full swing we have offseason news in football, basketball, and ICYMI another look at MW players taken in the NBA draft.
Hunter Maldonado back in fold for Wyoming after Injuries
Hunter Maldonado has been fully cleared medically and is ready to get to work. Maldonado dealt with multiple injuries including knee and back issues that limited him to 8 games last season but Maldonado was still the Cowboys second leading scorer at 13.8 PPG. With the departure of key seniors including Justin James, Maldonado should be reinserted into the starting lineup and be a major contributor for the team next season.
Former Lobo video coordinator promoted to director of operations for basketball team
Ralph Davis, after spending last season as a video coordinator will now be the director of basketball operations for New Mexico. Coach Paul Weir says Davis “has been terrific since coming on board”. Davis comes to New Mexico after spending nine years as assistant and head coach at New Mexico Military Institute.
