Remember Cody Fajardo? The successor to Colin Kaepernick? He’s still doing well for himself in pro football. Fajardo will start Thursday for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Another off-season phase completed: there is pro football happening on this continent.
Another John Ursua link! The former Hawaii Rainbow Warriors slotback is making himself at home in Seattle, a team that needs a stud slot to emerge with Seahawk legend Doug Baldwin retiring recently. D.K. Metcalf is catching the headlines, but Ursua should carve a role out for himself this upcoming fall.
Boise State and Brigham Young seem to play each other in just about everything, but the two men’s basketball programs have surprisingly not faced off since 2008. That’ll end starting this upcoming fall when BYU plays in Boise. The Broncos will play the return game in Provo the following season.
