It’s a new week and we are kicking things off the right way. Check out what’s in store for you coming up this week, as well as the latest MWC news.

Ostrander makes history in T&F.

Boise State’s Allie Ostrander has run the 3000 meter steeplechase three years in a row and has won the national title three years in a row. it’s been a remarkable career for the redshirt junior and she will have the change to make it four in a row in a year. After the race she said “I feel hot, and not the attractive kind of hot.”

Aztecs have four players in the MLB draft.

That puts their total at 219 players in their baseball history, which is pretty darn good. Logan Boyer is hoping injuries are behind him and if they are, could end up being a steal. The other three all have legitimate skills that should help them in their minor league paths.

Ex-Lobo is prepared for a busy summer in his car.

Sean Carlon, the standout golfer for New Mexico, is trying to live out his dream. He’s going from qualifying tournament to qualifying tournament, trying to make it to the U.S. Open. He talks about his experience in this article and offers some insight to others looking to make it big in golf.

The Mountain West release conference basketball schedules.

You can see the men’s here and the women’s here. The tournament format was also released. Remember, conference play starts earlier in December this season because the conference tourney needed to be moved up.
