Edwards announces he will transfer

Senior guard Hyron Edwards says he will play his final season elsewhere. Edwards is the sixth Ram to transfer since the season ended. Edwards was set to be an important piece for the Rams heading into next season after being a valuable player off the bench for CSU this past season, averaging 6.8 PPG, 2.5 APG and 1.4 SPG.

UNLV clinches Silver State Series over Nevada

After UNLV defeated the Wolf Pack in 2 out of 3 games in Softball they clinched the Silver State Series for the sixth time in 7 seasons. The Series is won by beating each other in head to head competition across all sports. The series has been dominated by UNLV for a while with Nevada’s sole win in the past 7 years coming in 2017.

Martin twins will need to fight their way back to NBA combine

Last year the Martin twins were invited to the NBA combine. This year they are two of 40 draft hopefuls that will participate in the G League Elite Camp with other players and former G League players. A select few of players will be invited to the NBA combine if their G League Elite Camp performance merits one. The Martin twins are the only Mountain West players participating in the event set to begin next Tuesday.

Former Rebel heading to Baylor

Jonathan Tchamwa has announced he will transfer to Baylor. The 6-8 freshman started 11 games for the Rebels, averaging 3.3 points and 3.4 rebounds a game. Per NCAA rules he will have to sit out a season
