Happy Hump-day and here are your links for the day:

NCAA forms a group geared towards student-athlete image and likeness.

This is potentially big news. They are meeting to discuss issues relating to college athletes having their name, image, and likeness used. They are saying this won’t result in student athletes being payed however. It’s confusing what other conclusions they can come to or how this will be beneficial, but it is an important step in the conversation. Plus, student-athletes are actually in the group, so that’s something for a change.

Boise State softball got in the tourney, now they need to prove they belong.

If you follow MWC softball, this was a puzzling decision for many people and a reward for a touch schedule in the eyes of others. The decision has been made and now it’s up to the Broncos to prove they belong with the best of the best this season. Can they have a good showing?

An update on Nevada’s basketball roster.

Big news today as point guard Lindsey Drew announced he was staying. This is a huge weight lifted off of the metaphorical shoulders of the program. They are up to nine scholarship players now and have the looks of a pretty good roster.

Runnin’ Rebels pick up a grad-transfer.

Cody gets a combine invite.
