Bill Connelly previews the reigning champion Bulldogs in his final MWC preview. Connelly expects Fresno State to slip back a bit after drastically exceeding expectations in Jeff Tedford’s first two years back at the helm in Fresno. One of the main reasons to expect Fresno State to regress is their returning production rank of 129th in the country.

Deion James announces transfer destination
After announcing his intention to transfer from Colorado State immediately following the basketball season, James intends to play as a graduate transfer at Washington State. James started 21 games in the 2017-2018 season, but did not play in 2018-2019 after starting the season injured.
