The time for negotiations for the Mountain West’s television rights are well under way. However this ends up, one thing is sure: the money is unlikely to come anywhere near Power 5 levels. That said, the results will be worth watching. Will the conference stick with the ESPN/CBS Sports tandem? Will they go unconventional with YouTube, Amazon? Plenty of possibilities.

Nevada will play football at Big Ten’s Iowa in 2022

Football talk! Nevada has signed a deal to play Iowa in 2022. The Wolf Pack have made a habit of scheduling the Big Ten in recent years and that’ll continue with the addition of the Hawkeyes. Where will Nevada football be in 2022?

Bulls add home-and-home series with Boise State

More scheduling news! Boise State will play against South Florida in 2025 and 2027. That is a really long time from now, but it’s set in stone. This will be the first meetings between the two programs. The players that will compete in these games are either in elementary school or middle school.

A family affair as Nevada’s Toa Taua embarks on sophomore season

Nevada Sports Net’s Chris Murray does a profile on Nevada’s young star running back Toa Taua. The former 4-star recruit for the Pack is the younger brother of former Nevada football star Vai Taua. Expect many more yards and touchdowns from Taua in 2019.
