MWC Recruiting Roundup 2-15-19

Rams offering everyone, and other MWC recruiting updates.

NCAA Football: Colorado State at Air Force Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

After weeks of recruiting news that featured only offers, the MWC picked up a new commit this week! Specifically, Wyoming got their first verbal pledge. Along with that, there is still the usual range of offers being handed out. Without question, Colorado State gets another week on the lead photo, as they far and away handed out the most offers. As you can see below, it wasn’t even close. They also become the first team to capture the lead photo two times.

2019 Cover Photo Total:

  • Colorado State: 2
  • San Jose State: 1
  • Nevada: 1
  • Fresno State: 1
  • Boise State: 1

MWCConnection: As a player, what do you feel are your biggest strengths?

Lyles: My biggest strengths are my ability to listen and follow directions, be a team player, also I am a workaholic in the weight room and in other areas.

MWCConnection: On the flip side, what are the areas of your game you are working to improve upon before next year?

Lyles: This year I’m focusing on my hip flexibility, my footwork, football overall, and off the edge speed and strength

MWCConnection: Do you have plans to visit any schools this spring?

Lyles: I plan on visiting Colorado State, SDSU, Wyoming, Nevada, Boise State, New Mexico, and UNLV.

MWCConnection: What do you like about each of the MWC teams you have offers from?

Lyles: What I like about Colorado State is what they have to offer education wise, how close they are to California, and what the football program offers for my career.
