Apparently most MWC coaches were taking a break to watch March Madness, because only a handful of offers went out. Actually, recruiting still carried on, as a few program such as Fresno State held a Junior Day and hosted a plethora of recruits. Although not listed here, it appeared that a high number of players attended. It wasn’t a heated race for the banner this week by any means. Boise State had the most offers out, barely. Fresno State hosted a Junior Day so they get the nod.

MWCConnection: As a player, what do you feel are your biggest strengths?
Davis: When it comes down to defensive backs I feel like I can play Safety, Corner and Nickel which gives me the versatility to play anywhere on defense , I can come down and lock up man to man and I can come off the edge and blitz and disrupt the QB.
MWCConnection: On the flip side, what are the areas of your game you are working to improve upon before next year?
Davis: I need to work on reading run pass reads in order to be a step quicker
MWCConnection: Do you have plans to visit any schools this spring?
Davis: I’ve visited San Jose State, Fresno State, Air Force and UNLV so far. Then I will be visiting Nevada April 20th. I think Wyoming is close to offering. Also, SDSU, Boise State, and UNLV all said they plan on seeing me once the evaluation period begins. This summer I plan on going down to Fresno State and San Diego State for their camps.
MWCConnection: What do you like about each of the MWC teams you have offers from?
Davis: I like the amount of communication I’ve been receiving with both schools. Nevada always checks up on me weekly and always tells me new great information on the school and football program. Air Force I took a visit up to and really enjoyed it. I was able to talk to the position coaches and they told me where I would be playing at on defense. I also really liked what was going down at UNLV and feel like coach Sanchez is building up something special down there in Vegas.
