Boise State Women Punch Their Ticket

The Bronco women are dancing for the third straight year

Boise State’s women’s basketball team punched their ticket to the NCAA tournament for the third straight year with a convincing victory over the Wyoming Cowgirls. The women had made the first two games very interesting, as they came down to the wire. The championship game was different.

On Wednesday night, the women had the lead for the majority of the contest and it was their most well rounded game of the tournament. Braydey Hodgins was the tournament MVP and led the Bronco scoring attack with 16 points. More impressively, Hodgins was perfect from the field. Joyce Harrell chipped in 12 points, while Jayde Christopher and A’Shanti Coleman each had 11 points.

The Lady Broncos will wait to hear their seeding fate. In recent years, the selection committee has not been generous to Boise State. Will that change this year? Or will the Broncos play another true road game?
