Making it to Friday calls for another round of fresh links!
Boise State finished with a better recruiting class than Northwestern, Syracuse, Pitt, Maryland, Vanderbilt and 13 other Power 5 programs
Who would’ve ever thought that Boise State would have one of the best recruiting classes in the nation? Even you look at their 2019 class, they rank 49th in the nation according to 247Sports. The Broncos find themselves one spot above Northwestern, who was competing for a Big 10 Title last season. Can them translate this new group of talent into success on the field? Only time will tell.
Not the kind of news you would like to hear about a possible NFL draft prospect. Carl Granderson is currently facing third-degree sexual assault and battery charges in Albany County. Granderson, who participated in this year’s Senior Bowl is now facing charges that carry a 15-year sentence.
It wasn’t that long ago that many people were questing the Lobos’ ability to play against adversity. They weren’t a team many thought could play from behind. But the proved this people wrong on Wednesday night. Going into the second half trailing 53-43, the Lobos stormed back to take home the win, 83-70. A huge confidence building win for UNM.
The Rams gave all #6 Nevada could take on Wednesday evening. After getting blown out in the first half, CSU began to slowly claw their way back into the game. They would come up a bit short, losing 98-82. This might not seem that close of a game, but compared to where they were, it shows the fight the Rams have in them. They didn’t lay down.
